On Wednesday April 24th, thousands participated in a march sponsored by the Unified Young Armenians through Hollywood and the Mid-City area in remembrance of the 1915 #ArmenianGenocide carried out by the Ottoman Empire. In addition to paying tribute to the 1.5 million Armenians who lost their lives, the march served as a call to Turkey and the U.S. to officially recognize these killings as a "genocide" and not just an atrocity. #RecognizeTheArmenianGenocide
